๐ My Ridiculously Long, Luxurious, Over-the-Top (At Least Tri-Weekly) Bath Ritual
Because sanity, softness, and spiritual glow-ups are non-negotiable.
To say Iโm a bath person would be an understatement.
The bathtub is my holy stomping ground. Itโs where my sanity is restored. Itโs one of the main reasons Iโm not completely unhingedโand honestly, itโs the obsession that birthed Louloudi in the first place.
My mother loved baths. Iโm sure her mother did too.
This love runs deep in my DNA. And the moment I dip into piping hot water (the kind that could absolutely burn a baby), ease back into lounge position, and close my eyesโI feel the world come back into balance.
๐ฆ Step 1: The Sacred Setup
Before I even touch the water, I set the stage:
The lighting? Dimmed.
Candles? Obviously.
Incense? Yesโand not just any. I burn my newest blend, rich with chunks of Palo Santo, no charcoal required. (Coming soon.)
As the piping hot bath runs, I pour in one of my current signature essential oil/resin blends directly under the stream:
Japanese Spa โ A grounding blend of eucalyptus and cedar essential oils
Divine Fem โ An anointed oil made from slow-infused Black Copal, Frankincense, and Dragonโs Blood resin in Squalene and Rosehip oil
Then I close the doorโlocking in every drop of steam and scent. The room transforms into sacred space.
This is not just a bath.
Itโs a portal.
๐ฟ Step 2: Treat the Water Like Royalty
Iโm currently researching a full-blown bath water purifier (stay tuned), but for now, I treat my bath like a sacred brew:
2 cups sea salt
ยฝ cup Epsom salt
ยฝ cup baking soda
This detox blend is a weekly ritualโrestoring magnesium, releasing heavy metals, flushing cellular waste, and reviving my vitality. (Bath bombs coming soon.)
I also pack a Louloudi bath tea bag with whatever Iโm feeling:
Sometimes wild thyme and lavender, other times seaweed and clay.
I honestly feel like Iโm stepping into a cauldron. A divine one.
๐ง๐ฝโโ๏ธ Step 3: The Slather & Slap
After a long soakโonce my muscles are relaxed and my blood vessels have dilated from the heatโI begin my lymphatic massage.
Using my Emphatic Massage Oil, I rub from foot to head (or head to footโdepends on the chakra situation). Sometimes I lightly slap my chest to wake up my lymph. (Yes, it's a thing.)
But hereโs where it gets extra:
I pour ice-cold water into a glass
Add a few drops of Emphatic Oil
Drop in a salt-packed Louloudi bag
Then press it on anything sore, swollen, or in need of a miracle
The smell? Divine.
The tingle? Unreal.
The pain? Gone.
๐งช Step 4: The Skin Elixirs
Weโre not done.
While still in the bath, I apply our new Sea Foam Cleansing Powder as a face maskโletting it detox and gently exfoliate. I follow that with our AHAA treatment on my face and armpits. After 10 minutes, I rinse.
Sidebar: Youโll notice I didnโt mention cleansing myself with soap.
Thatโs because, following the Japanese bathing tradition, bathing comes after showering. This is not about stripping the skinโitโs about nourishing it.
Once Iโm out, I head straight to the fridge and grab my HydraSnail Jelly Serum.
I slather the cold, slippery, ultra-hydrating blend of snail mucin and hyaluronic acid from head to toe. Then I follow with:
Probiotic & Peptide Serum Mist
Radiant Defense Gel
And yesโmy face care becomes my body care
Because I get high on my own supply.
Lately, after long days in the garden, I also layer on:
Emphatic Massage Lotion Bar
Arnica Oil
A second lymphatic massage on the sofa in a towel, like a glowing goddess wrapped in ritual
Then: 15 minutes on my lymphatic drainage plate.
And from thereโฆ I melt into puddle form.
